Day 19 update,

Took these pictures right after sending the plant into Veg 1. I had completed a water change prior to heading into the seedling stage however the ratios of nutrients stay the same into Veg 1 so I did not complete a water change for this phase change. Also, it appears to me that some of the newer fan leaves seem to take on a paler green than leaves that have been there longer, is this normal/ do these plants look healthy? I am a first-time grower so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@BG1164 This looks to me like nutrient burn from the wonky pH and PPM. Have you had a chance to calibrate your sensors? Let me know if you need any help with that.

Cannabis Pruning - learned a lesson

@dj we are all learning lots about pruning and training and how early to throw it into flower. Two options: 1) drop a net on the top and daily use the suction cups to pull it down about an inch a day. 2) cut off the top four inches. It will be painful but harvester did this and still got a good yield. Keep us posted,

As I have mentioned before, this process feels wrong and looks scary. However it is VERY beneficial for new growth and will increase the plants overall strength/yield.

Hey that is starting to fill in nicely. The really busy plants you see on here are indicas. Yours is sativa dominant I think so it is going to look scragglier. Don’t worry though it should really start to bulk up those flowers.

Just to share for the rest of those watching this grow, @Svoboda and I talked privately because they were concerned about reaching places that were hard to get to due to the two trellis's that are installed. We discussed using a household fan to blow the leaves around as another method of pollinating.

Another concern was that some flowers seemed to be dropping. This is completely normal as male flowers tend to drop and the female flowers are later to bloom, but will eventually fruit.

@Svoboda Keep us all updated as to whether the fan method made a difference. Thanks!

Looking good! Every water change I push the roots back over to the right side of the root blockers (under the root view panel on the left) to keep them from growing down into the reservoir. Other than that, you can let the root mass get as big as you'd like. Bloom comes with a trellis system (inside the accessories box), and I think you are ready to install it and let the plant start growing through. Let us know if you need some direction there.

Nooo! The training was going so well, I really wanted to see you take one that to flower. I did start my blueberry with six seeds, sex it and cut back to one. It is growing well! But feminized seed is so much more reliable and less hassle if you can find interesting strains.
