Cannot connect Bloom to forum or app even though it's online.

Everything else has sorted itself out (frozen control screen, lights not cycling) without my intervention, which leads me to believe the AI tech is working and my device is online. But every time I try and connect my phone to the forum and Bloom to the forum, it says bloom needs to be connected to wifi...it definitely is!

I can no longer connect to my Bloom from the IOS app. After logging in, I get the internet connection lost message in red at the top of the screen.

Also on the forum and the Bloom panel, I am unable to download recipes from the forum. repetitive loop back to the login screen despite being logged into the forum.

Anyone else having similar issues?

Control panel froze, lights stayed on all night

I checked on my grow this morning, and I noticed the time on the display said 4pm. I tried interacting with the control panel but I couldn't push any buttons - it was unresponsive no matter where I pushed.

I had to cycle boot the machine. This happened several times during my first grow and it really messed up my grow because it impacts the ability of the unit to follow the correct light schedule.

Is anyone working on getting this resolved? @BloomCS

Hello I have decided id like to grow some fungi, mainly Enoki and Oyster. I would like to try and use the Bloom cabinet to provide the controlled environment. Is there a way to set parameters for humidity? The mushrooms need a more humid environment than what the bloom standard of 55%-65%.

All recipes showing a length of grow = 0

Hello! I am trying to start a new grow, but am unable to download a recipe from the forum (trying to use the 'Autoflower Sativa' posted by Gr0w3r -- it shows as being downloaded on the unit but there is no recipe behind it). I've also tried entering the parameters from scratch and it does not save. Every recipe other than the sample recipes (I selected the 'Beefsteak Tomato recipe and that works) have a grow time of 0 (zero). System seems to be running fine. I reset/rebooted to no avail. Any ideas on next steps?

Seed Stage & Germination

Do you germinate your seeds before starting the "seed stage" which on my recipe runs for 7 days.

I have tested no germination and just threw the seed in and nothing even sprouted.

I have also tested germinating for 24 hours and then I put the sprouted seed into the seed stage and after 7 days nothing happened as well.

I'm wondering if I need to germinate longer to grow more of a tap root or what is suggested here?

Temperature settings for Dry stage

Encountered a challenge on my second cannabis grow that I hope the community can help answer.

I am in the dry stage of my grow and despite recipe target setting of 0 light hours, both top and side lights keep triggering to the previous stage settings (flush stage -8 hrs). Tried several times to reset the machine and also reset the grow recipe but had no luck. Finally just set up a new recipe for just the dry stage and fixed the light issue. Curious if anyone else encountered a similar problem.

While the lights situation is resolved, now I have a temperature problem. My recipe setting is for 70 however the bloom monitor displays 65 as the target. In addition the bloom seems to stabilize at 60/61 despite being below the target zone. It appears purposeful as the cooling and heating triggers to maintain 60/61. I placed two different independent sensors in the unit and both read accurately to the bloom display. Any suggestions on how to raise the temperature in the unit?

Trimming Tips

Has anyone come across a good resource for trimming tips? I left for a week and my jalapeño plant is filling up the cabinet! Novice grower and don't want to damage the plant while trimming it back.

How soon will I have to purchase more pH & nutrient solutions?

Your pH and nutrient solution bottles should get you through your first grow and beyond. The system doses a very small amount of nutrient at a time when needed to keep your pH and PPM within the target range without going over. You may notice some depleting faster than others because of the ratios that are set in your grow recipe.

Remember, we recommend completing water changes every 2 weeks, but if you do these more often, you may use up your nutrient solutions faster.

If your PPM is too high, this is likely just because your plant is drinking water at a faster rate, which is going to happen as your plant gets larger! Just add water to the main Nutrient Reservoir to allow your PPM to settle back into the target range.

Optimal Recipe Length

Looking for advice on the optimal recipe length for a Sativa Cannabis (from seed).

I replicated the recipe for another user's cannabis plant (Flapjacks) but given that my seeds are Sativa (vs Indica) and recommend "50 Day Flowering" on the back of the package, concerned that the 99 days that the recipe (including Germination, Seedling, Flush & Dry) might still be too long.

Any advice on how to best set this up in terms of duration? Or is trial and error the best bet?
