Lilac Bell 2.0
-
About 16 days into the grow, both seeds germinated. I am going to give it a few more days and then decide which one to prune off. I'm leaning more towards the one on the right, the leaves are much larger. So far everything has been pretty simple, am excited to watch it take off!!

A little update for you all. I am on the 4th Fruiting stage and I think these guys are almost ready to be picked (well some of them anyway.) Might give it 1 or 2 more weeks, but I'm already coming up with some recipes to showcase them in.
As always, here is a little before and after haircut:
Might have been a bit on the aggressive side but this guy can handle it.
And the bells!!

Anddddd we have some purple bell peppers!!! About 11 weeks into this grow right now, currently on Stage 7 (Fruiting 2)
I did remove one already because it was going to get stuck in between branches, thought I should do it now rather than wait before it was really stuck. Wasn't quite ready but still tasted great.
I cannot wait to see how big these guys get. Right now I have about 10 actual bells with additional flowers sprouting every day. I prune and add about 2-3 gallons of water each week.

On the second fruiting stage (Stage 6), and just pruned my Lilac Bell Pepper again. I forgot to get a good shot before I started. The first photo is halfway through, the second is when I was finished. I try to prune this guy at least once a week because this puppy is growing some LEAVES.
Baby bells are starting to show, can't wait to see the color appear on these things!

Just started Stage 5 which is the first fruiting stage and I am starting to see some flowers! I also recently pruned a good amount of the larger leaves to help the light get through. Hoping I'll start seeing some tiny peppers within the next few weeks.

On stage 4 now of the Lilac Bell peppers. I switched to the Bell Pepper 2.0 recipe to see how that goes. It has a lower PPM for the flowering and fruiting stages and a lower temperature throughout. So far I am very impressed by the amount of root growth for how tiny the plant is!
