Bloom Time!
-
Hi friends!!
I'm so excited to have started my first grow yesterday evening - received my Bloom on Friday and got it set up over the weekend! I'm growing Lucky Train Haze from non-feminized seed (Steamboat only has non-feminized seeds it seems - so we'll see how that goes). I started with 4 seeds, because I don't really know the germination rate!
I have the Bloom set up in my heated garage which is a bit unlevel, so I thought that would be a good Beta test situation..
I have the time-lapse feature set up so I'm excited to figure out how to post those photos here once the seeds germinate.
Happy growing!

When anyone can, I think there is a worthy test. A technique called "monster cropping"
starts with flowering clones and then puts them back into veg to get better yields. I'm wondering if the six pod grow deck could be used to start six seedlings, but very early (after second set of leaves?) put them into flowering, sex them 10 days later, and save one female plant to put back into veg for 2-3 weeks and then into flower again. I might have to try it!

Hey @OtterEm and Bloom Fam!
Be careful with non-feminized seeds. It may take weeks to decipher if is m/f. If you are trying to grow a female cannabis plant look for:
Female, hair like pistols will grow from the nodes between the stem and leaf stock (left Image).
Male, hemp plants will grow node like clusters and begin to produce seeds (right image).
Your plants might not show signs of their sex until flower cycle begins.
Post pictures!
Good growing!

Welcome OtterEm! I look forward to seeing the progress of your grow.

Thanks OtterEm! Hey we do have six pod grow decks so you could start up to six seedlings and increase your chances of getting a female plant. I'm interested in learning more with you.
