    • Need new pump - where to get one?

      D

I'm throwing this out to the group for help. Anyone have any ideas on where to turn for new pumps? I need a new one for the mixing pump.

    • Control panel froze, lights stayed on all night

      O

I checked on my grow this morning, and I noticed the time on the display said 4pm. I tried interacting with the control panel but I couldn't push any buttons - it was unresponsive no matter where I pushed.

I had to cycle boot the machine. This happened several times during my first grow and it really messed up my grow because it impacts the ability of the unit to follow the correct light schedule.

Is anyone working on getting this resolved? @BloomCS

    • All recipes showing a length of grow = 0

      D

Hello! I am trying to start a new grow, but am unable to download a recipe from the forum (trying to use the 'Autoflower Sativa' posted by Gr0w3r -- it shows as being downloaded on the unit but there is no recipe behind it). I've also tried entering the parameters from scratch and it does not save. Every recipe other than the sample recipes (I selected the 'Beefsteak Tomato recipe and that works) have a grow time of 0 (zero). System seems to be running fine. I reset/rebooted to no avail. Any ideas on next steps?

    • BLOOM Cloud Update

      B

      Hello BLOOMers!

As I'm sure many of you have noticed, we are seeing some data issues between our BLOOMs and the cloud. This can impact recipe upload and download and limit what you can see from the APP, but should not impact the day to day running of your BLOOM garden.

Most of our BLOOM cloud development had been done with trusted long term partners in the Ukraine, Belarus and other countries now impacted by the crisis in the Ukraine. For security reasons, we ended relationships with contractors in those areas and are working hard to build expertise in safer zones. BLOOM is complex however, and so far we have not been able to move fast enough to keep all the wheels on all the time. We sincerely believe we will have this resolved soon, and thank you for your patience.

We are sorry for any frustration this downtime causes. We wanted to make sure you knew that we are aware of the issue, and let you know that we are working to get these issues resolved as soon as possible. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

    • New Upgrade Available

      Hello BLOOM Community,

      News Upate!

On Dec 5 BLOOMs received a system upgrade that included improvements to the PPM and pH logic. You may have already seeing the message from your BLOOM telling you an upgrade is available.

If you have not seen the message, you can find the update by going to your BLOOM's 'Wi-Fi' section. You get there by either touching the Wi-Fi icon or using your Control Panel Menu.

Once in the Wi-Fi section, select 'Software Update. It will tell you there is one and if you touch 'OK' it will install it for you. The installation may take a minute or two and it is possible that your screen goes dark for a bit afterwards, that is normal, it is the system rebooting itself once the update is installed.

After you install the update, you will have FW version V1.1.19.

Let us know if you have any questions or issues updating your BLOOM. We're here to help.

    • The Hard Decision

When growing Peppers from seed, if you planted 3-5 seeds in the pod to make sure you'd get at least one seed germinating, then you are bound to get more than one little plant coming up within a couple of weeks. I got four! :seedling: :seedling: :seedling: :seedling:

      b74be23c-27d9-4977-a3cf-da42191db682-image.png

However, exactly because I am growing these in a single pod, now that these little guys are about 2" tall, I must make a hard decision: Which one of the bunch am I going to allow to keep on growing?!

Yes!! :disappointed_relieved: I have to cut out my extra little seedlings and leave only one. Why? Well, because it WILL be huge! And I only have enough space for one. So ... I must make the tough decision. Choose one, and cut away the rest. Here they are, and here I go.

      48caa8c4-9584-4589-92b8-cc424a19697a-image.png

And so, I did it. Very reluctantly and sadly, I had to let 3 little seedlings go and keep the healthiest one of the bunch.

The first time I had to do this was very hard, because ... what if the one doesn't make it? ... why can't I just grow them all, they are so tiny?! ... why...? But, after growing once I learned. This little guy is going to be huge! So, in order to give it the best chance, it will need all the space it can get.

      Just you wait!

      92048355-fb36-49b0-942f-27c8dc7d30eb-image.png

Here it is! And just because it is a cute little living thing, because I want to, and because why not, I am going to name my little fajita pepper plant Henry.

      Hello Henry!
